Ministries
& Services
There are a number of opportunities to volunteer at Belmont
Church. We take pleasure in offering a number of ministries
and services. Below is an overview of the major areas where
we're involved. Please consider partaking of these ministries.
As well, we invite you to join us in service. We're always
looking for volunteer ministry support.
Children's
Ministry
Children's Ministry at Belmont Church touches the future,
one heart at a time. From weekly classes to church camps,
with broad ministry throughout, the CM department pastors the
children of Belmont from infancy through 6th grade. For more
details, visit our CM Volunteer page or contact Children's
Ministries.
College/Young
Adults/Singles Ministry
C/YA/S is what it is-a collection of arts, activities, groups
and classrooms filled with up-and-coming leaders, men and
women stepping to the frontlines and preparing to make their
mark. The ministry regularly offers Bible studies, cell groups,
mission trips, coffeehouses, marketplace lunches. For more
details, contact College/Young
Adults (19 - 35) or
Singles (35+).
Family Life & Counseling
Our primary focus in Family Life and Counseling is to help
Belmont Church members experience and express the love of
God in all our relationships, especially family life. For
this reason we offer ministry and training opportunities in
the following areas; personal wholeness, marriage and parenting.
For more details, contact Family
Life.
Isaiah 58
Isaiah 58 is Belmont's ministry to the poor and disenfranchised
of Nashville. Our bus serves as a mobile outreach to several
economically depressed areas of the city with food and refreshment.
Room-In-the-Inn provides overnight shelter and a hot meal
to the homeless during the winter months. Our prison ministry
reaches into local jails. In total, Isaiah 58 has twelve different
types of outreaches into the city, and we depend on the body
of Belmont to help us serve our community. Formore details,
contact Isaiah 58.
Media
Services
Belmont Media undergirds the ministries of Belmont Church
by providing technical support, producing audio and print
materials, and creating and developing medium options for
the communication and expression of our leadership. In addition
to our in-house responsibilities, our parallel vision aspires
to impact our neighbors on Music Row, inviting industry professionals
into the church via our studio door. For more details, contact
Media.
Members
Services
The Member Service Department serves our Belmont members through
small groups, membership, staffing, facilities, and finances. For
more details, contact Member
Services.
World Outreach
The Belmont Church foreign missions initiatives are directed
toward introducing, establishing, and advancing the message
of God's rich love for all mankind through Jesus Christ. We
have chosen to focus on people groups who are not yet familiar
with this message and who have little available internal resource
to receive and cultivate this message. To that end, we selectively
reach into the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Eastern
Europe, and North America with a variety of long and short
term initiatives which we see as being part of the ministry
and message of God's reconciling love for all nations, races,
languages, and tribes. For more details, contact World
Outreach.
Worship & Arts
The Worship Department desires to help develop in others a
personal worship life that overflows into our corporate celebration
meetings and expresses itself through our life vocations.
We do some of this through the teaching of scripture, training
worship choirs and praise bands and via arts classes and art
workshops. For more details, contact Worship
and Arts.
Youth
The Youth Department at Belmont Church believes that we are
shaping tomorrow's senators and presidents and people of influence.
We desire to see our students trained in the ways of the Lord
and commissioned to lead in their schools, neighborhoods,
shopping malls, and among their friends and family. With a
team approach and a Christian worldview, we are seeing our
youth discover their destiny for today. For more details,
contact our Youth department.
