“Not by might, Not by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord!”  This is the creed of every Super Hero in Training at Belmont’s Children’s Kingdom Camp: UnMasked as they actively prepare to know their place in His Majesty’s Kingdom.

Kingdom Camp kids will assemble at Garner Creek Retreat Center, located on 135 beautiful acres in rural Dickson County on idyllic Garner Creek.  The grounds feature an indoor (heated) swimming pool, sports fields, and hiking trails.

The vision of Kingdom Camp is to prepare an atmosphere for the children to experience the Lord’s presence, so that the King will be able to minister to each child Himself.  This can be accomplished through the Word, worship and taking in these simple Kingdom truths: you dearly loved and chosen, and that all things are possible to him that believes:

…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

Daniel 11:32b

From those who walk with King Jesus daily, to those who don’t fully know Him yet, children will come to know more of The King of Kings and Lord of Lords while enjoying His beautiful creation

*Important Information *

Campers

Kingdom Camp welcomes children completing grades 1through 6 to become Super Heroes.  Kingdom Hero Training will take place over five days and four nights.  Camp policy requires that all attendees be part of the Belmont Church community.

Report for Training

Hero Inductees must arrive Monday, July 21 at 8:00am and will be sent home to live a Super Kingdom lifestyle at 2:00pm on Friday, July 25.

Counselors

There are four large dorm-style cabins and three main meeting halls.  Each cabin has private bathrooms and showers.  Bring your own bedding.  Male & female campers will be in separate chambers along with their counselors.  All counselors and staff will be interviewed and approved, cleared and trained for this special assignment.

Dining Hall

Meals are provided in the Dining Hall by Garner Creek’s finest cooks who prepare three country-cooked meals served buffet style.

Safety

We will have approximately one camp Counselor for every five campers.  The swimming pool will have a certified lifeguard on duty and a nurse will be available 24 hours a day at the Nurse’s Station.

Chapel

Daily worship/assembly time will take place in the large outdoor tabernacle.

Fees and Scholarships

Please note that camp is 5 nights this year rather than the previous 4 nights.  Belmont is being charged $195 per camper.  We are only asking parents for a camp fee of $125 per child to help defray the cost for lodging, all meals, camp T-shirt and mementos, daily trips to the snack bar, and special activities.  A registration deposit of $25 (applied toward the above mentioned camp fee) will reserve your spot and lock-in the camp fee rate.  Bring no money to camp!  Payment plans are available to help spread the cost out over several months.

It is our desire for each child to have the opportunity to attend Kingdom Camp.  Thus, partial scholarships are available for this life changing experience.  Click here to obtain a detailed scholarship form.  All scholarship requests must be received by May 18. We’ve set a family maximum of $300 to assist those with more than two children attending camp.
