	Belmont Buzz: The latest CM newsletter is here on the website. Registration Begins for Fall EquipU Classes in the Lobby this Sunday! Register for: Early Childhood, Preschool classes, Warriors Of the Word, and Children School of Worship. T-shirts for Children School of Worship will be $15. You can also register online Fall Semester: Wednesday nights September 10 – November 19. The Great Talent Search begins again September 14 – December 14 (open to all 1-6 graders). Grade school children will be able to receive monies from Sunday school teachers on September 14, 21, 28. This year’s $3000 goal will be divided among: Lata Lincoln in India, Steve & Judi Cochran in Kenya, and Habitat for Humanity.




	Baby Dedications: can be scheduled the 4th weekend of each month. If you are interested in dedicating your baby, please call Kim Bischoff at 256-2123, ext 250, to reserve a spot during one of these assemblies.




	Prayer Needs: To share prayer requests with the CM intercession team, call Mindy at 256-2124, ext. 250 or email her. Preschool Parents: There is a preschool worship option for our 3 & 4 year-olds on Sunday morning. You may drop your child off in room 315 at the beginning of either Sunday assembly so that he/she may participate in a time of age appropriate worship.

CM Volunteer

Working as a Volunteer in Children's Ministries

Children's Ministries seeks quality people to help nurture, teach and lead our 400+ children (not all at one time!) that attend Belmont Church. The commitment is divided into two teams with each working two weekends a month. Each Division Director (Early Childhood, Preschool, Grade School) provides thorough training and materials.

How Do I join the Team?

1. Complete a Interest Card click here to submit one online.

(This card can also be obtained from Children's Ministries Office/staff or from the worship center lobby information wall)

2. Return completed Interest Card to CM staff or mail to Belmont Church, Children's Ministries.

3. A Volunteer Application will be sent to you to complete and return. You may also click on the link above to download a copy of this file in Adobe Acrobat format. It takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.

4. CM staff will check your references and a background check will be completed.

5. You will be contacted by a CM staff member for placement, or for further information.

6. All Belmont Church volunteers or staff who work with minors are required to participate in a Safe Keeping training. Click here for a list of upcoming dates. Those interested in joining the CM team will recieve notification about these meetings. Please contact the Children's Ministries Office to let us know if you plan to attend.
