W.O.W. (1st-6th Grades)

First through Sixth grade children can become Warriors of the Word by participating in this fun and active method of memorizing, studying and applying God's Word and principles. The children learn the importance of teamwork through participation in one of three teams with a coach leader. The evening is divided into four quarters which include:

- Team Building - Active Group scripture memory

- Faith Builder - Group Bible study or object lesson

- Team Competition relays, challenges, and games designed to

encourage interaction between team members while reviewing

and reinforcing weekly Bible lessons and verse memorization

- Rap-Up, Share, and Prayer

Winter 2007 Semester focus: We will be Growing in God's Word using Skits, Memory Verses, Games, Object Lessons & Bible Lessons. We will learn primarily about the Old Testament, history, book order, where some of our favorite stories are found and why they are in that part. Anticipate a fun and interactive time!

Children's School of Worship (Kindergarten-6th Grades)

We believe that our children are not the leaders of tomorrow, but the leaders of today and Children’s School of Worship:

• desires to see each child grow closer to

     their Heavenly Father and learn to worship

     Him in spirit and in truth.

• believes God has created the arts for His

    glory and it is important to encourage this

    next generation to use their artistic talents for

    God alone.

• also teaches that worship is not just an

    outward expression, but worship is a lifestyle.

The School of Worship exposes the children to many kinds of art forms that include choral training and music instruction, Orff instruments, dance & movement, praise signing, drama, and visual arts. Our goal is to give "worship tools" to our children that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Registration:
Children's School of Worship starts September 12, 2007 for the Fall Semester! To register your 1st-6th grade children, click here: Regster Online. CSW runs weekly each Wednesday night, at Belmont Church until November 14, 2007 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Registration closes after the first week of classes, so register now! Preschool Classes (3 yrs to Pre-Kindergarten)

A fine team of dedicated caregivers & volunteers teach our preschool children during Wednesday night classes. Since children of this age learn best with repetition, their lessons correspond to the weekend class lessons. The Wednesday lesson may have a similar focus or story, but the activities or crafts will be varied. Of course, their lesson will incorporate play and fun.

We are limited on the number of children we can accommodate; therefore, please make a reservation. To do so, click here or call Carla Jones at 256-2124, ext. 481 by the Monday prior to the evening you will attend.

Early Childhood Childcare (birth-36 mths)

A fine team of dedicated caregivers are ready to bless the nursery & toddler aged (0-36 mths) children with fun, food, fellowship and the Word of God during Wednesday night events. We are limited on the number of children we can accommodate; therefore, childcare reservations are always required.
