Thank you for all your years of dedicated service in almost every area of Children’s Ministry. You will be missed! Extra, Extra, Read All About It! Children’s Ministry is looking for you! At 8:30 - Nursery: 2 volunteers for the 18 mo. olds, 1 teacher to teach “hands-on” curriculum to 18 mo. olds; Preschool: 3’s 1 teacher and 1 helper; 4’s 1 teacher and 1 helper Grade School: 1 teacher, 1st grade At 11:00 - Nursery: 2 volunteers for the infant room Preschool: 4’s 2 teachers and 2 helpers; 5’s 1 teacher and 1 helper 56 Impact!: 1 man, 1 woman needed Grade School: 1 teacher, 1st/2nd grades CM Team Training For New Volunteers: Sunday January 11, 2009 at 9 AM. Located in Room 308 – Main Building / Third floor.




	Classes on December 28 for all children, nursery through 6th grade. Baby Dedications & Water Baptism: If your child is interested in baptism or you would like to have your baby dedicated in the New Year call Kim at 256-2123, ext. 250 to schedule a time. 2009 Kingdom Camp Dates: July 7 - 10.




	Prayer Needs: To share prayer requests with the CM intercession team, call Mindy at 256-2124, ext. 250 or email her. Preschool Parents: There is a preschool worship option for our 3 & 4 year-olds on Sunday morning. You may drop your child off in room 315 at the beginning of either Sunday assembly so that he/she may participate in a time of age appropriate worship.

Curriculum

The curriculum we use is an eight-week program developed by Palma Smiley. This curriculum presents a theme using various props and stories. As the

teacher presents the Bible lesson, small props are held by the children to illustrate the lesson. Even one-year-olds enjoy these lessons and will sit for 20-40 minutes at a time listening and participating in the lesson.
