	Belmont Buzz: The latest CM newsletter is here on the website. Hallelujah Party: Children of Belmont, mark your calendars for Friday October 31! Get ready for carnival games, treats and a great time. Volunteers are needed to man carnival games, food, set up and tear down. If you are interested please contact Karen Hall at 885-6472 or email. We need you! Thank you. 8:30 AM Third Sunday Worship is next Sunday October 19. We’ve got good news for you! Parents please take note that 1-6 grade children will have their own worship service in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday after next week. Join us for this fun, active, and meaningful time of worship. 8:30 AM Preschool worship will continue as usual. Baptism: If your child is interested in Baptism, please call Kim Bischoff at ext 250 to schedule a counseling appointment with Mrs. Sylvia. Kingdom Camp dates have been changed! Our Kingdom Camp dates will be June 29- July 3, 2009. Please mark your calendars for this.




	Friendly Reminder: We trust you are enjoying the time provided between assemblies for coffee and community. Please remember to pick-up your children before 10:30 AM and before 1 PM. Thank you! Baby Dedications: can be scheduled the 4th weekend of each month. If you are interested in dedicating your baby, please call Kim Bischoff at 256-2123, ext 250, to reserve a spot during one of these assemblies.




	Prayer Needs: To share prayer requests with the CM intercession team, call Mindy at 256-2124, ext. 250 or email her. Preschool Parents: There is a preschool worship option for our 3 & 4 year-olds on Sunday morning. You may drop your child off in room 315 at the beginning of either Sunday assembly so that he/she may participate in a time of age appropriate worship.

Special Event Childcare

Baby Dedications
Babies are dedicated by our Children’s Ministries Director, Sylvia Peterson. Dedications can be scheduled by contacting the Children’s Ministries office (256-2123, ext. 250). The Department Assistant will schedule dates & times through a telephone interview. Dedication messages are personalized for each child based on the meaning of the child’s name. A written copy of the dedication message and an audio recording will be mailed to the parents following the dedication. Grandparents, other family members and friends are welcome to stand with the family during the dedication.

Baby dedications are held on the 4th weekend of every month. Contact the CM Administrator to schedule a dedication.

Baptisms
Water baptism during assembly. We believe that baptism should occur after a child has come into the covenant family of God. Since age is not necessarily a factor in the spiritual development of children, the request for baptismal counseling is related to the Children's Director when parents sense that their child desires water baptism. Both parent and child attend the baptismal counseling session after which, a joint decision is made regarding the scheduling or delay of water baptism for that particular child.

Baptisms are celebrated on the 2nd weekend of the month. Contact the CM administrator to schedule a counseling appointment.

Special CM Events
Any event at Belmont Church, other than a regularly scheduled weekend assembly, is considered a Special CM Event. This includes our Wednesday night assembly, any guest speakers, or special meetings. We have a fine team of dedicated caregivers who are ready to bless the children with fun, food, fellowship and the Word of God during these special events.

We are often limited on the number of children we can accommodate, therefore, childcare reservations are always required. Information on how to reserve childcare is published with the announcement of each special event, or call 256-2123, ext. 482.
