	Trying to find an opportunity to serve? Night Out Against Crime: We are joining Edgehill Community for a celebration of fun for the neighborhood. August 5, 4:30 – 7:30 PM We will need folks to come play, face paint, do nails, play games. More information to follow. Every Sunday – help with lunch at 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall - everything from practicing your conversation skills to washing dishes. Tuesday and Friday Lunch Outreaches in partnership with Luke 14:12, in the Fellowship Hall. If you work in the Music Row area, please try to join us at 11:45 AM-12:45 PM. Thursday Outreach is looking for a few helpers to help on the outreach to Dickerson Road. You would need to be in the Fellowship Hall kitchen by 10 AM and can be finished by 1:30 PM. Outreach schedules are in the foyer in the Isaiah 58 information slots.




	Our Pantry is low on the necessities. - Adult shoes and socks (mostly men’s). -Toiletries: deodorant, shampoos etc. Travel size is fine. - Diapers - all sizes - Canned goods... meaty soups, stews, tuna, fruit, mayo, pickle relish. - All basic food groups welcome: beans & rice, mac & cheese, peanut butter & jam. Please drop off the items in the Isaiah 58 Bins in the Foyer.

Isaiah 58 is Belmont's ministry to the poor and disenfranchised in Nashville. Through the Isaiah 58 ministry, Belmont is able to extend a lifeline to those with short-term needs, as well as develop long-term relationships with individuals and families trapped in a cycle of poverty.
Isaiah 58 is unique in that it provides an array of ministry opportunities. The Isaiah 58 bus, for example, serves as a mobile outreach to several economically depressed areas of the city where food and refreshment are provided. Room-In-the-Inn provides overnight shelter and a hot meal to the homeless during the winter months. A prison ministry reaches into local jails. In total, Isaiah 58 has twelve different types of outreaches into the city.
