Active Seniors For Chist

Seniors Ministry at Belmont Church exists to help seniors build community, walk in service, and finish well as followers of Jesus.

Our desire is that EVERY senior, regardless of age, has a place to connect with the Belmont Community. We also want to see our seniors connect across every generation, to mentor and be mentored, to serve and to be served, to pour into younger lives and be poured into by them. Anyone Belmont Church Seniors age 55 and over is eligible to join The ASFC (Active Seniors for Christ).

Because many people of this age are still working, the current group is composed of the 60+ crowd. We meet the third Thursday of each month for a covered-dish luncheon, at Asaph’s Chamber at 11:00 AM.
This is a close-knit group who pray fervently for the Belmont leadership and for one another. Intercession, prison ministries, tutoring, etc. are how we serve. We also have an efficient network to communicate prayer needs and general news.

Jim and Mary Davis currently lead the ASFC (jimmycdavis49@gmail.com). Cathy Heiser (cathyh@belmont.org) is the pastor of the seniors. Come join us! We welcome you to our family, and look forward to walking with you as we walk with Jesus.

Bible studies and relevant exploration of God's truth happens in various formats. We want our Wednesday night and Sunday AM gatherings to be interactive - to welcome discussion and debate - to explore God's word together and build community. Click here for our current schedule.

What if I want to find out even more and possibly become a member of Belmont Church? To get involved at Belmont Church; from Community Groups, World Outreach, Social Justice, Children & Youth Ministries and opportunities to help you in your own growth with Jesus, please email info@belmont.org.
