On January 27, a gathering of Belmont Church members and guests were privileged to view "Harriet Beecher Stowe: Literary Soldier," the one woman play by Elizabeth Davidson, Nashville artist. Following a brief intermission for refreshments and fellowship a panel discussion took place: David Durham (moderator), Cheryl Tolbert, Don Finto, Warner Durnell and Lee Camp (panelists). These leaders discussed racial reconciliation and the gospel of God's love in Christ, the implications for the church and society. They were open about their personal experiences as well as their perspectives on some possible next steps. Below is that discussion - raw, honest and hopeful.
