Education: B.A. Honors, English Literature, The King’s College, Briarcliff Manor, NY; M.A. Biblical Studies, Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA

Family: Married to Carol since 1980, 3 children: Drew Charles, born 1984, Savannah Noelle, born 1989, William Dillon, born 1991. (One not-very-obedient dog, China.)

Hobbies: Music, music, music, skiing, walking, reading, politics, political TV talk shows, doing imitations of various accents (English, New York, redneck, etc.)

Likes: Dry wit, great public speaking & preaching, emotive worship, thoughtful discussions, jazz, cold weather (why is he in Nashville, then?), snowy mornings, dark lager, Volvos.

Dislikes: Easy answers, knee-jerk reactions, condescending attitudes, spiritual pride, shiny suits, balancing the checkbook, Nashville drivers.
