Education: (1) Undergraduate degree at Yale University with double concentrations in African Studies and pre-med. (2) Graduate work in Theology at Cincinnati Christian Seminary. (3) Medical training at Bowman Gray Medical School.
Family: Married to Diana (Caplinger) Antanaitis in 1973. Children: Sarah (married in 2005 to Edymar Penagos), Isaac (married in 2004 to Juli Santmier) and Micah (currently a student at Milligan College).
Hobbies: Reading, cooking, porch-sitting in a rocking chair with a good book.
Likes: My family. International affairs, cultures, cuisines and music. Cool weather. The outdoors. Sports. Early mornings. Studying history. Travel. Solitude. Being in medicine. Being in ministry. Missionaries and other Kingdom advancers. God’s truth and grace.
Dislikes: Tight spaces, whining and grumbling, humidity.
