One of the hallmarks of Belmont Church is its passionate commitment to worship. From an historically strong acapella hymn background to our current contemporary expression of songs, hymns and spontaneous spiritual songs, we are a church that takes the phrase "praise the Lord" seriously. Everything we do corporately, from dance to drama, banners to drum corps (yes, drum corps), orchestras to choirs is all done to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ. Various expressions of the arts such as painting, film, sculpting and mime are also used throughout our body life and in our assemblies to express the many facets of the character and heart of God when we come together. All of these expressions come from the Worship and Arts ministry of the church.

Belmont worship during Easter service. Our departmental goal within our congregation is to help develop through experience a personal devotional worship life that overflows into our corporate celebration meetings and expresses itself through our life vocations. We do some of this through the teaching of scripture, training worship choirs and praise bands and via arts classes and art workshops.
