Imagine everyone who calls Belmont Church home serving one Sunday a month. From Parking to Prayer, Kids, Youth, Greeters and more - our engagement with our community would grow as would our impact. There are ways to serve for our introverts and extroverts - or maybe the Lord will ask you to serve in a NEW way - just ask Him.
Whether you're inviting someone to church or to an event hosted by our church - apologetics, our men or women groups, or even a "non-churchy" event such as Live on Music Row or After Hours @ The Well. Step out and invite family, friend, neighbor, coworker - and watch the Lord use that invite to impact their life.
Meeting one new person a month goes a long way in building community. Maybe it's just a meet and greet to learn someone's name or maybe there is a common thread the Lord is weaving, and you end up grabbing lunch, connecting throughout the week or just knowing their name the following Sunday. Step out and meet someone new - it will encourage you and them.
What we are asking with Pray 1 is to join with us on our prayer and fasting guide for intentional prayer once a month. We'd love for you to join a team - just text prayer to 6152562123. Or, if you want to do this with your own group, pick a day and pray and fast. We continue to see the Lord do great things through our obedience and sacrifice.
Why do we serve, invite, meet and pray - to fulfill the greatest commandment given to us by Jesus: love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind and love our neighbor as ourselves.
