Thursday Outreach

Our Thursday outreach was created to provide a hot meal, clean clothes, shower, fellowship (where they are heard) and the word of God / ministry with our guests at Asaph's and at the McFerrin Community Center.

DONATIONS: We need these clean, new or gently-used items for our outreach:

Men’s

  • Long sleeve t-shirts (M to 3X)
  • Flannel shirts (but no dress shirts)
  • Sweatshirts (L to 3X)
  • Hoodies (L to 4X)
  • Jeans (waist 30 to 38 and length 30 or 32)
  • Sweatpants (L & XL)
  • Knitted hats
  • Gloves
  • Coats (L to 3)
  • Athletic or hiking shoes (sizes 9-15)

Women’s

  • Leggings (M to XL)
  • Warm pants (M t0 XL)
  • Warm shirts (M to XL)
  • Underwear (sizes 6-9)

General

  • Sleeping bags
  • Tents
  • backpacks

If you have any of these things, please put them in the bins in the Annex and main lobbies.

School Outreach

We serve Carter Lawrence Magnet school through the following ways:

Reading buddies - reading to the students on a weekly basis.

Faculty - serving the faculty through acts of kindness - meals, administration, clean up and support for events.
